There are 8 total planks totaling over 70 BF of laminated hardwoods. Each plank is nearly 10 ft in length, 6 of the 8 are 12 inches wide and the other 2 are 10 inches wide. All are 1 1/8 inches thick, and surfaced on 2 sides. Made of various hardwoods. These were manufactured for large truck beds, and would make nice workbench tops, bar tops, etc. Price is firm and for all 8 pieces. Thanks...

I recall an article in Fine Woodworking magazine that was about an early type of laminated wood furniture. A museum had constructed a partial example of a chair using the methods of the factory that made such pieces. It wasn't "modern" furniture. I think it dated to the 1800's or early 1900's. It didn't have the streamlined 1930's look. Does anybody else recall this article? I haven't found...

Hello, I've been thinking about buying a MM or a plain old Grand Marquis Ultimate. The Grand Marquis have an option in the 2006 models that is called "laminated glass". When I'm looking at a GM, how do I know if it has this option and is there a place where I can have my car "decoded" before I buy it using the VIN ? I know you Panther lovers must have a source. I want a GM because I can ...

Can anyone help? I'd like to make my own backstage pass with a laminated look. Any advise would be appreciated! Kind of a clear, glassy look about it. It will be fun to attach a digital lanyard to it! Which reminds me...anyone have a lanyard graphic? Using Photoshop CS2. Thanks! Susan

I was showing a co-worker the images of EVH's appearance on an upcoming episode of Two And A Half Men (this Monday, September 21), and we got to discussing guitars. As he looked at the images, he asked me a question that I really did not have an answer for, namely, are the stripes on this guitar real, or are they the result of some process that allows a "decal" to be applied, then clear coated?...

Selling a Washburn Classical Guitar, solid top (better sounding than laminated tops). I've played with it less than 10 times (less than an hour each time), and it's in almost mint condition (just because I've used it before). I don't have the time to play it, so I'm selling it away. The guitar is exactly the same as this: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00..._ya_oh_prod uct DON'T ...

Hi, I have to make a "laminated" board by gluing four 1" x 1" pices together about 7 feet long. When I'm done with the glue up, I'll need to true it up. Normally I would joint it and plane it, but I've always been told that jointing or planing a glue joint will wreak havoc on blades. Any suggestions on how to accomplish this without blade damage? I've thought about using polyurethane glue...

I came across this in my local greengrocers of all places! There was the guy I've known for years with a glazed look in his eyes telling all and sundry about the new miracle product - moringa. His papers (carefully laminated) included the suggestion that it could prevent/treat cancer which he told me was all over the web and had research to back it up. I informed him about the Cancer Act, I...
