I\'m planning to take my family to Lake Tahoe.. never been there so wanted to ask you guys about your experiences. Where to go? South or North shore? Activities to do with family? going back to lake tahoe with the family thanksgiving weekend. which ski resort is the best for beginning/intermediate. my 7 year old daughter also need classes. would be nice to stay @ the lakeside inn for $60 a night (south tahoe).

As often as gas money allows. Early and late summer are the flattest times. Mid summer, go in the morning till maybe mid after noon depending how many tower boats have chewed the water up,, put the boat on the trailer, kill something on the grill and, watch the parade of idiots as they try to retrieve their boats after the wind picks up! The aqua-fuzz probably doesn't squawk any more here than ...
