Now, now I realize that ARR gave good music in Lagaan. I like the song...baar baar haan, bol yaar haan... And O re chori. Infact, IMO O re chori could be one of the most beautiful duets(if we cut the part sung by Vasundhra, it was relevant in the film but in audio, it seems a bit odd.)

Welcome to this week's toys update. Check out the wonderful collectibles we just got in stock and all the new products made available for preorder. As toys, especially collectible ones, are produced in limited numbers and are often sold out prior to the actual release date, we strongly recommend to preorder the figures of your desire as early as possible. Before their merge, Gurren, ...

The OP is probably the best OP I've seen in the last year. Plus it's produced by GAINAX (Evangelion, Gunbuster 1 & 2, FLCL, Mahoromatic, Abenobashi, etc.) so I had high expectations 4 it. It's exceeded them so far. I haven't seen much, because I like to have DVD quality for something this awesome and I'm dirt poor presently... I hope jen jen shows some next Friday "I don't give a damn, ...

Snatch - It was watchable enough the first time around; however, subsequent viewings quickly become tiresome. I dont mind the thinly drawn everything , but the directorial craft is a bit too hippish and superficial for my taste. 5/10 The Devils Rejects - Its definitely its own movie. I cant say that I enjoy watching it but I also cant help but admire Zombies balls-out audacity....

"I find it funny when self proclaimed cinema lovers claim how great Wake Up Sid or Johnny Gaddar was, but then fail to find Lagaan or DCH or RDB or TZP as great movies." - going through Anwarji's favourite Indian films now, I can see that three of the films you've mentioned appear on his list.

True. Speaking of weird, i've been watching Tengen Toppa Gurren-Lagaan, very strange but I like it despite the kinda cheesy "If I believe in myself I can do it!" protagonist.
