Milk is among the most common food allergens in infants and children. http://clinicaltrials.gov I can't imagine being a school and having to keep track of all the students.

Hi, I'm lactose intolerant and have been taking those lactose pills, but I haven't spoken to my doctor about the risks of drinking soy milk and regular milk, and if I should take the lactose pill and drink regular milk, or stick to soy milk? Thanks!
My hubby has something wrong with him and I wonder if maybe he could be lactose intolerant? What are the symptoms of LI and how do they test for it? Dee in Michigan

Has anyone with a dairy issue (allergy/intolerance) eaten at Tusker House for breakfast? How were the offerings? Just curious, as this is a place I'd like to try sometime. I've had very good experiences with breakfast at Crystal Palace and Chef Mickey's. They both had an excellent assortment of dairy free items.

vega_pleiades wrote: I hate ice cream. My teeth are super-sensitive to the cold, so it hurts whenever I eat it. And I don't care how sweet it is, pain sucks. Brush with Sensodyne everyday, and the pain goes away... sorry. Ice cream is great, glad you found some you can eat. I'm not lactose intolerant but I like Sorbet and Rice Dream much...much more than normal ice cream.

I'm also lactose intolerant. But fortunately I throwup at the sight of milk... I'm wondering if I can keep drinking soy milk or drink milk and take my lactose pills.
We have friends who are gluten intolerant. At 1st I found it a nightmare trying to cater for them because even the most innocent things seemed to have wheat in them. I just read every label twice to make sure, and if I'm not certain I don't use it. We often have them round for dinner and can honestly say I've not triggered an attack for either of them with anything I've ...

MaladaptOGM posted: Being lactose intolerant doesn't mean you're deathly allergic to milk. I figure mice would be small enough that death by dehydration would occur due to their explosive diarrhea? On second thought, that really is less humane than breaking their neck in a mousetrap....
