Someone has posted on wikipedia a photo of a mural from inside the ayuntamiento (town hall) of San Cristobal de la Laguna showing the Guanche kings brought to ferdinand and Isabella (wikipedia entry: guanche). I have always stayed in PV but this time staying at Marival in Nuevo. I want to take my friend to Yelapa, should we take a bus/taxi to Los Muertos or is there a water taxi from Nuevo? We just can't decide...we are going the week after Christmas and hoped to be close to the beach, hence the Cocodrilo option. However, Hotel Arco Iris looks like it might be a nit nicer (pool, etc). Can anyone chime in on this? I just want to make a decision! I have never been to Costa Rica before.
