LSPV Bleeder Size I've looked but cannot find the info. What size of bleeder valve do I need for the LSPV on a 97 LC ? My Toy dealer did get me a 10 mm one but it seems too big and the one in there now looks to be 8.5 mm (I tried an 8 mm wrench and it was too small and the 9 mm was too big). The closest size I could match with ...

Does anyone know how to bypass the load sensing proportioning valve on my 93 FZJ80? That's what I call the piece attached to the rear axle that adjusts the brake fluid pressure to the rear calipers depending on how heavy the load is. It has two lines coming in and one coming out. All the other ones I have dealt with just have an in and an out. Those were easy. I need some guidance on this one ...

I have a '91 FJ80, and experienced squishy weak brakes after replacing my knuckle. I bled the brakes to death, then replaced the master cylinder, got shot in the eyes with brake fluid, bled for a few more hours... all to find out that my LSVP needs to be replaced. I see that you can bypass the LSVP, if anyone can help explain or show me pictures, I would appreciate it! Cody

I just finished up the head and haven't fired it up yet but I will have started soon. The LSPV needs to be changed and I have one. The last item is it has back fee's. I have an unmolested LSPV with a 3" lift as well, no problems out of my brakes. That being said, I think that the tuning needed is a case by case basis. What works for Beno isn't necessarily going to work for me. The other posters are right on, when on an incline, nothing is going to work better than familiarity with your rig. Often on extreme downhills I'll pop mine into neutral because the...
