I have no rear brake pressure which I discovered as I tried to bleed the brakes, plenty up front. After reading all about the lspv valve adjustment, I went to take a look and the rod going to the axle is all bent from contacting the control arm above, or is it supposed to be "curved". Seems like the valve is shut off to the back. Should I straigten it or remove it/replace it completely. It's...

LSPV Adjustment Help Needed... I recently installed OME 2.5" lift (850/860), Slee's caster correction bushings, and at the same time adjusted the LSPV body down .25" per the thread provided in the FAQs. Last Saturday I was driving on the freeway with my 2 girls (2 & 4 years old) and the car in front of me slammed on their brakes ...

LSPV leaking Had mushy brakes since I bought it from the second owners and the last time I bled the system I was getting air out of the LSPV. I looked under the truck the other day and noticed that the rubber boot on the bottom was wet and after squeezing it my hand was covered with brake fluid... So I now have a leaking valve ...

Well Today I replaced the rear brake pads and rear rotors in addition to bleeding the brakes. I want to adjust the LSPV but there are dozen of threads where different people have done different things and some with mixed results. I have J springs in the front and heavy's in the rear. Some popular mods have been: Landtanks 1/2" tubing home depot mod... Hayes referencing Slee's ...

How did you guys delete the LSPV on your 62s? I'm going with discs in the rear and want to eliminate the stock LSPV at the same time. It looks like if I found a stock fj60 hardline I could just use that and remove the 3 lines running to and from the LSPV? The first picture shows the fj60 with no LSPV. The second shows the fj62's LSPV config.

As some of you may recall, I was having trouble moving my LSPV down to adjust for my lift. Instead, I fabricated a new mount for the valves armature at the rear end. I wanted it beefy to limit flex, so its made from 1/4"x1" wide steel, the 3/8" holes are spaced exactly 1" apart. From measurements taken before and after the lift, I gained exactly 3 inches with the OME 863s in the rear. ...
