If Alidar Jarok is studying for the LSATs, he is depressed If he is not depressed, he is not studying for the LSATs. This horrible monstrosity of a test is next week for me. That means lots and lots of studying when I have free time (which I don't anyway, but let's pretend I do). Does anyone have any last minute advice for this test that you think might be helpful? I'm not completely ...

So I took the Dec LSATs and I am very confident about sections 1-4. I get to section 5, a reading comprehension and I know is not an experimental section because it was the only one, and I realized that somewhere along the lines...I skipped a question and the numbers and answers didn't correspond! I tried to fix the problem but time was called and there wasn't much I can do. I stupidly moved down...

I did not say no chance I said outside chance. Additional, with most law schools scores for admission tend to clump around the median and often if you have scores in the median it will be a toss up because of law admissions rates. I said for a Good chance at admission you need to be at or above the median. Law schools will often get thousands of applications for a few hundred spots and ...

What part of "first principles" do you not understand? Legal argument is like any other, you have to start with the basic foundation and link your points from there. I suppose you also have no concept of formal argumentative structure? When you're talking about a foreclosure defense, applying the applicable local version of the code to the Note is the smallest part of your job - and ...

It's your freshman year. How do you already know your first semester grades? You've already taken the LSATs? Regardless, neither of your credentials will earn you admission to HYS.

Tough decision indeed!!! Since both schools are excellent and offer good internships - I think it comes down to where you personally feel you "fit" and will be the happiest for 4 years. Getting into law school, as you are probably aware, requires a good GPA and good LSATs. I'm not sure if either school "publishes" their acceptance rates to law school, but I'd make some calls to the Pre-Law/...

they do prefer academic majors, but it won't make a huge difference. i was a finance major and am now at CCN. it looks a lot better if you come from a top program like wharton than from an unheard business school. if you are worried, you can always double major in econ, which is considered to be more academic than finance/accounting. but it really only makes a small difference in your ...

I want to write. That's a given. But to write takes time and in some instances that means money to sustain yourself while writing. So as much as I want to write, I need something else as well. I wrote my LSATS because I thought law school might be an interesting route. I did well, but after really thinking about it, I decided law just wasnt for me. Right now, Im considering teaching or putting ...
