Have a Fortec Star 4200 box which having received some excellent advice on this forum, have got working magnificently Flushed with success I wondered if I can use the the LNB out connection to send the signal to another box in the next room to be used on another channel at the same time I know I could buy a dual LNB but it's quite a cable run from the dish to the ...

One of my LNB feeds is working fine, the other says "bad or no signal". Anyone any idea as to what I can do in this situation? Internal wiring seems fine. Presumably dish is ok as one feed works fine.

Something I've never used B4, a LNB Twin. Is it correct to say that with a Twin, two different stb's can watch two different channels at the same time, of course, pointing to the same sat?

Installing Second LNB I just recently moved into a new house which already had a satellite dish installed, so instead of bringing my old dish with me to the new house, I decided it might be easier to simply bring my HD box (6131) to the house and connect it to the existing setup. Once I moved in I realized that the dish only had 1 ...

Hi, I've just taken the plunge and bought a DM800hd and I was wondering what the best lnb is for it, I was told it had to be 0.1db, if so what are the best ones out there? I currently have a 0.2db. Any advice much appreciated. Cheers

If you look at a dish 500 or a dish 1000 you will notice that the LNB's are angled slightly upwards pointing to the focal point of the reflector/dish. So with that said, Does the LNB have to be at that certain height just to have that particular angle? Is this angle a must? The reason I ask is because I would like to have multiple lnb's on one dish and by using a straight bar, pipe clamps & ...

I salvaged a Sky dish that was out the back of my house. It has an LNB on it, but since connecting it up and aligning it correctly indoors (not allowed to put it on the house), it doesn't pick up any channels at all with the FTA receiver I have. My deduction at the moment is that the LNB's screwed, but I can't see a way to remove the darn thing. It is a very old Sky dish, anybody got any helpful ...

I have a Digiwave DGL-1189S Ku Twin LNBF circulr/linear hooked up on my Primestar 1.2m dish. I am using my Coolsat 8000HD receiver. I got this LNBF for getting NASA and Ion on 119W. I set the LNBF on LO:10.75 standard. On G19 (97W) some Tps are like 1% (11779H 3979), 20% (11789V 28125), 59-62%(11836V 20765),85% (1196H 22000), 72% (11991V 22000), 1% (12053V 22000), etc... Can't even get ...

Sponsored Links Normally the low temp around here, this time of the year, is in the low to mid 20's. This week they have been dropping into the 0 to 5 degree range. While I can still view -S KU signals the -s2 signals are gone until it gets above 20 degrees. Time to look for another KU LNB. I have checked the site sponsors but it appears none of them sell what I need...

I recently had 1.4 dish installed with Goldstar intersat DigiBox, I can recieve BBC 1 ,ITV(Anglia)etc between the hours of 9am - 9pm ,then it dissapears, After inspecting dish ,I find it to be 1.4 height x 1.25 wide. Spanish tv man suggested tuning dish ,so it is 1.22 h x 1.4 wide, as signal is picked up widthways, is this correct ? would an LNB upgrade make much difference ,as it is a basic ...

Could the experts please tell me this is ok, or am I up a gum tree Just thought I'd share something, but happy to make corrections or be told there's a simpler way. I devised it as part of trying to see what was wrong with a Sky Digibox that didn't receive BBC2 or Channel 4 for some reason. (see separate thread - still unsolved ) I needed to check that the Sky ...

Someone asked me the other day if a Shaw Direct non stacked quad lnb satellite dish can be converted into a stacked system so he can still split the line that is running down to his mechanical room in his house?? I said there must be technology out there that can do this but it probably is too expensive for a residential application. How can it be done????

I have 3 Quattro Alps lnb's on Astra 1/2/3, connected through a Vantage multiswitch 13/8. Astra 2 on port 1, apparently needed while Sky receivers don't work with Diseqc, so only look at the first lnb connected. Signal strengh is +/- 95% on all 3 lnb's Everything worked fine with my receivers, a Humax PVR9700, and a Aston Xena 1700 for Dutch channels. Now we've ordered Sky ,...

Hi Everyone, I could really use some help... My dad's Italian and loves to receive all channels that neck of the woods, he's been through a couple of boxes and dishes, and we now have a Technomate TMS-1500 CI, and a 60cm Technomate motorized dish with a powerful LNB. He bought a Dragon CAM off a friend a few years back, and he's been using that ever since, returning to his mate ...

Most (all?) shops selling lottery tickets have a medium size dish with an unusual (to my eyes )LNB, I presume it is something to do with the security of the tickets, any one know what sat it's pointed at? Is it a 2 way thing? Don't worry,i am not interested in cracking it, just curious!
