Market 1 exchange and no LLU providers, mainly gaming use and web browsing,no overnight download limits would be ideal,20-30gb daytime usage roughly.Currently with plusnet but ongoing issue with them is making me look elsewhere. So,any ideas apart from moving?

Anyone on this service can tell me what its like? they have just introduced it and I have signed up (impulse decision!). I was on the none LLU service and now for the same money per month I can get "unlimited" un throttled BB through C&W LLU networks. By the looks of it it should be pretty good. I'm also hoping it'll solve a little problem I have been having but I doubt it. I've been with ...

ive searched my phone exchange and it says only 2 isp's are LLU enabled. TALKTALK and ORANGE. ive rang both companies to enquire about broadband service and neither are LLU enabled in my area. what chance do we have when the exchange info is not correct. TALKTALK expect to go live in my area within a month, even though it says enabled on 04/07/2009 on 'Samknows' ORANGE are ...

Hi all, I'm considering ADSL24's new LLU offering on some of my customers' lines. However I'm a bit confused (easily done, I know). The winter broadband promo on the front page links to this , which lists two C&W packages (hoem and office). But clicking the LLU link on the front page takes you here , where there's three packages. Is this a mistake on the site, or are there...

I've had Be* Broadband in my flat for 2 years and it's been faultless but I've just bought my first house (hurrah!) and the exchange at the new house only has TalkTalk/CPW as an LLU provider. I've got two options; 1) Go with a BT Wholesale ISP but to get the level of service I got with Be* I'd need to go with Zen or Fast.co.uk - both of which are pretty expensive. 2) Go with TalkTalk and ...

For anyone looking around, or even not doing so, it's worth knowing this. Until the end of this month they are giving three months free. You have probably seen the adverts. Allowing for the fact that Vat goes up on 1 January, that means the corresponding annual costs on LLU are £112.50, £135 and £202.50. ( Avoid O2 Access at the moment . That's the BT Wholesale based non-LLU ...

I hope this doesn't impact the solid network performance for the all the other new C&W LLU resellers. But then again, it might prompt C&W to improve and expand their network and exchanges which would be a win all round. edit: news link - http://www.reuters.com/article/cyclicalConsumerGoo ds... Hi all, O2 are finally giving up and letting me migrate. Only LLU provider in my area is TalkTalk, and BT have snuck me on to a sneaky rolling contract without me realising, so I can't move my phone line to them. So I'm looking for a reliable, preferably uncapped (or generously capped) simple 8Mbit ADSL service. I was paying £20 a month for Entanet through ADSL24, who were ...

I have been on a tesco.net 512MB unlimited service for many years with zero problems. I have negotiated a temporary discount if I stay with them (£9.95 pm instead of £17.58 pm for 6 months) but feel that I now need something a bit faster. I am on the MRSAN exchange and the DSL statistics on my Linksys WAG354G router interface are currently:- Interleaved; Downstream Rate 7616 Kbps; ...

As per title really, where are you going? The only really viable option that I've seen so far is Plusnet's £35/m Business option, but I refuse to sign a 12 month contract. Z e N > plus net > enta net >

Hi, I signed up with Tiscali on 6th November and here I am 3 weeks later, still without any broadband service. I am in an area with llu (Bayswater) and only 1/4 mile to the exchange, yet you or BT cannot organise yourselves to install/ activate broadband at the exchange within a reasonable amount of time (i.e. 1 week) These "standard timescales" means your customers receive a very ...

First post ... When Sky engineer visited my new house recently he told me Sky had their own exchange in my town. I am not talking about LLU - I know what unbundling is. I am talking about their own physical exchange seperate from the BT Wholsale one. Is this possible ? someone else says hes talking rubbish ...

Hi all I am dumping Sky at the end of my 12 month Sky+ contract. I also have O2 on LLU at £10 per month and BT line rental. I've looked at BT Vision but its far to much and today I phoned Virgin as I fancy the catch up and on demand content. The cost of the V+HD has always put me off although it is more for installation. My offer was: Free V+HD ...

Hello. I'm at my wits end with both TalkTalk and Tiscali. I have a TalkTalk LLU line and i'm about 12months into my 18month contract at one property. At another property i'm just coming to the end of a Tiscali LLU contract with TV. I'm currently moving out of the Tiscali property and into just the TalkTalk property but would like to retain Tiscali TV as it's great. ...
