OK. AA's site is vague, and BAA still says that LHR allows more than one bag IF the airline allows it. So, is AA allowing a personal item, still, or is it one bag and only one bag out of Heathrow to the USA? if only one bag, is AA charging for what ...

Hi, I'm taking the 'outlaws' to LHR tomorrow as they're off to Australia for 3 weeks. I was hoping to take my steps with me to get lineup shots on 27L, but after a test run of the luggage, I have more chance of getting blood out of a stone. It means I have to find a pub and drop them off for a few hours, before taking them to check in then walk to a location. I know of the ...

This flight was taken back in April but I have been too lazy to write up a trip report. And since I'm on holiday right now I thought I'd finally make the effort to write one. I will try to remember "eggsactly" what transpired.... 25 April 2009 BA ...

Flight is day after, upgrade offer for $139 for WT to WT+ for BOS-LHR flight. Person flying doesn't need a lot of room, so even WT seat is probably fine. Any other reason worth upgrading? If it helps, on 777.

I arrived in SYD early on 22nd Dec on BA from CDG and LHR , having overcome rail strikes, freezing temperatures, plane icing, only to find that BA had left my luggage behind (with all my Christmas presents), presumably at LHR . Four days of phone calls, emails and scouring the BA website for status of my file have rendered ZERO information; all I get is "Tracing Continues". It's ...

Travelling home from holidays on the 23rd Dec the 4WD started to sway as I braced the steering the LHR Wheel came off, shearing 4 studs. We were quite lucky as we were travelling at 110km/h at the time, there was no other cars on the road. The damage to the 4WD was minimal considering the event of a wheel coming off at that speed. Please note that we did get new tyres fitted in early ...

Axccording to nwa.com, yesterday's flight 246 from MSP to AMS was rerouted through LHR and STN . It also arrived in STN before it left LHR . I am assuming that they first rerouted it to LHR , then changed that to STN before the flight ever got to LHR , but does anybody know for sure? http://nwa.com/cgi-bin/flifo2.pro?gatedate=21DEC〈= us&flight=246&day=20Dec&isdate_check=off...

Afternoon Looks like SA235 from LHR to JNB didn't go out last night and is going out at SA9235 today at 3:30pm. The knock on is that SA234 from JNB to LHR won't go tonight, but tomorrow morning. Also SA235 tonight is also delayed until tomorrow at 9am. Guess this will also have a knock on effect in terms of aircraft type, SA235 is usually a 346 and SA237 a 342 so people ...

I had chosen the travel dates for this trip many moons ago and had not foreseen the threat of a strike nor the winter weather that was to be bestowed on us. It is December 21st and I am on the BA439 taking me from AMS to LHR . I am writing the first section of my trip report on board ...
