As per the title - Ive currently running an old school p4 3.6ghz and have just checked what the fastest CPU my mobo supports which is Intel Core 2 Duo X6800 2.93 GHz 1066MHz 4MB LGA775. Now these are costing about £150. Is it worth the upgrade? Im pc literate but wouldnt know how to clock it so running at the default speeds what do you guys think ? Obviously we all know about the K9A2 on the AMD side...was wondering what the board with the most PCIe slots on the Intel side (specifically LGA775) would be? Just did a rough search through the 'egg and noticed this beauty. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813186 153 Looks like the most to me...3x 2.0 16x even. $69, nice price...may pick this up. Anyone know of a 775 board ...

Hey guys. I am in the market for a really low profile cooler for LGA775. It will need to cool a Q9400S CPU and fit on the DG45FC mITX motherboard. As you can see, it shouldn't be bigger than the mounting hole area if it is to fit in there. The cooler also must have no backplate, since the DG45FC has some of the components mounted on its underside, meaning it cannot accommodate any ...

Hi, I am new here, just signed up a few days ago! Currently I am searching for a mainboard which can support dual core or core 2 with agp 8x. With the research I found the 2 brands Asus(P5PE-VM) and Asrock(4CoreDual-SATA2 R2.0). However, I found out that the Asus brand mainboard only support an older range of core 2 duo (E4x00) and dual core (E2x00), with that, I ...
