ASUS P5B-E - $65 Shipped P965 Chipset, 1.01G Rev., LGA775, DDR2 This board is fresh from RMA, I would be using it still but had to get my machine up ASAP and could not wait for the RMA process. This is a great board, was one of the well known ones back when C2D hit the scene. Known to be a good OCer. Will support pretty much any LGA775 Processor (though some do require the latest ...

I am looking for a cheap LGA775 Processor. Under $30 Preferred, Under $45 at least (I can get a new E3200 for ~$50). I have a LGA775 board (ASUS P5B-E P965) that I just got back from RMA and I would like to test it out, but dont have anything to run in it (all my extras are 478 or older). Would love something like a E1500 or Celeron, but just shoot me your offers. I have lots of heat ...

I thought I could squeeze another year out of my current rig by upgrading my cpu to a core duo e8400 but somehow, the socket pins in my Abit IP35E got hosed. I swear I didn't do anything wrong but 4 pins in one corner and one down the row got completely mashed up and deformed and the system won't post. Can anyone recommend me a chipset or specific motherboard to pick up? I'm looking for ...

Example 1) Most popular CPU's: LGA775 q6600 LGA775 e6600 AM2+ X2 5200 Example 2) Q6xxx series E6xxx series X2 5xxx series Anyway, these were just very uneducated guesses.. that's why I'd like these stats If you'd ...

I'm looking to upgrade my processor, I currently have an LGA775 e2160 (clocked to 3.2ghz). Looking to get something better, the motherboard I have supports up to 1600mhz fsb, and my ram is DDR2-800. For games, would I be better off to purchase a higher end dual core processor, or a cheaper quad core? I'm kinda on a budget so lemme know what would be the best bang for my buck. ...
