Obviously we all know about the K9A2 on the AMD side...was wondering what the board with the most PCIe slots on the Intel side (specifically LGA775) would be? Just did a rough search through the 'egg and noticed this beauty. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813186 153 Looks like the most to me...3x 2.0 16x even. $69, nice price...may pick this up. Anyone know of a 775 board ...

Hey guys. I am in the market for a really low profile cooler for LGA775. It will need to cool a Q9400S CPU and fit on the DG45FC mITX motherboard. As you can see, it shouldn't be bigger than the mounting hole area if it is to fit in there. The cooler also must have no backplate, since the DG45FC has some of the components mounted on its underside, meaning it cannot accommodate any ...

OK. I have a TRUE120 cooler. but it doesnt have any mounting kits. I need it for a LGA775 setup, but these kits are VERY rare. I called a store, and surprisingly they had a lga775 mounting kit. i went and bought it, BUT it comes with 4 screws and only the back plate (the plate that goes on the back of the mobo.. Now i need the top part (retention bracket) the metal one. None of the ...

Hi, I am new here, just signed up a few days ago! Currently I am searching for a mainboard which can support dual core or core 2 with agp 8x. With the research I found the 2 brands Asus(P5PE-VM) and Asrock(4CoreDual-SATA2 R2.0). However, I found out that the Asus brand mainboard only support an older range of core 2 duo (E4x00) and dual core (E2x00), with that, I ...
I decided to upgrade my current pc with the following parts: -Asrock P45X3 Deluxe P45 LGA775 Motherboard -OCZ gold DDR3-8500 4GB (2GBx2) - OCZ3G10664GK -Intel Core2 Duo E8400 Wolfdale 3.00 GHz Pretty much what is happening is that when I turn the computer on, it power cycles every 8 seconds or so. It doesn't post on screen, and the debug LED reads off D4 of which the manual says that ...

I have an Asus P5VDC-X motherboard (LGA775). I did a full install of Windows 7 and everything has been working fine except I cannot get the sound to work. I tried the Windows Media Player and Winamp. I rebooted from the backup drive that has XP. The CD played using XP. I followed all problem resolution suggestions given by Windows 7, then I went to the Asus website to get the most current ...

I bought a new SATA Seagate 1TB hard drive for extra storage. My primary drive is a Western Digital IDE drive on a 'MSI P7N SLI-FI LGA775 ATX Motherboard MS-7380-030' Motherboard and I have a 430W power supply. The drive installs fine. I can send data to it and run things off it. The next day the drive doesn't work. It cannot be read and makes a clicking noise. I took back the drive and ...

I purchased a HP DC7100 365865-001 LGA775 Motherboard off ebay. The first setup I tried running with the board was a p4 3.4 ghz processor and 2 gigs ddr dimm ram on the board. I got a 5 beep error code upun start up, so I switched the processor to a p4 3.2 ghz processor. I get a message that I believe said something like 108 - multicode error and I needed to update my bios basicly....

My PSU (4+ year old AKASA PaxPower 460w) exploded earlier, luckily it didn't take anything with it but I'm gonna need a reasonably priced replacement. I can't see myself upgrading any hardware in the near future, certainly not a switch from LGA775 anyway but maybe a better video card sometime next year if there's anything worth upgrading for. E8400, P5K, 4GB DDR2, 8800GT. Any ...

Hey guys I'm looking for a M-ATX lga775 mobo... Preferably dirt cheap... Free is always nice.. I'm trying to setup a folding rig and want to do it as cheap as possible. Also, it NEEDS to be m-atx, the case I have only fits m-atx boards so bigger ones will not fit.
