I want to run two micropro 1000's off of my Onkyo SR806 which has 1 LFE output. Can I just run one RCA to the LFE-in of one sub, and then chain another RCA from the Line Out of that one into the LFE in on the second sub? That is to ask, does the line-out pass whatever is put into the LFE input?

Hooking a sub up without LFE or high level inputs Greetings, I have a quick question: I'm about to buy a used HSU STF-2. It has a sub-in and high level inputs. I am not using this for a HT setup - I plan to use it with my computer paired with powered monitors running out of a Zero DAC which has R/L RCA outs. Would I be able to hook the ...

Hi all This weekend I received my Gladiator Blu-ray but when I try it on my PS3 I have no Bass at all! I watched the LFE level on my Sony DA3300ES Receiver and there is no activity, even when all hell breaks loose on the opening scene. Voice and other effects sounds ok, just no bass whatsoever. If I use the PS3 remote to switch from Bitstream to PCM I get bass back, but it does not...

I have an LFE connection on my Receiver and an LFE conncetion on my subwoofer. The hosue is wired with speaker wire rather than coax for the LFE connections. Can I go from the LFE connection on the receiver with a 1xRCA male to 2x RCA male to the speaker wire in the wall then at the other end go from 2xRCA male to 1x RCA male to the LFE connection on the subwoofer OR do I actually need to ...

Hey guys, Just a quick Q about the Paradigm DSP-3100. Which input connector should I use? The Low Level input or the Sub-In/LFE-In? (sorry never owned a high quality sub). Also the sub has a standby mode, and I noticed that it doesnt auto-wake when it should? Mine went into standby mode the other night and the only way I could get it back on was by unplugging the RCA cable. (i ...

Just got the PSW505 and I need help setting it up. That's right, I know nothing! I can use either the LFE or the R/L plug. As I understand it, if I use the LFE, all of the settings for the subwoofer are controlled by my receiver (Sony STRDG820 7.1). If I use the R/L plugs, I control the subwoofer with the controls on the back of the subwoofer. First, am I correct? Second, ...

Scored another DVD early. Been patiently waiting for this to be released. I enjoyed it more in the theater, but still great on the HT. The LFE was most impressive with this one. Even on my lowly Yamaha subwoofer this movie thumped. I had to actually tone it down a little for my mother-in-law because the bass digs so deep. Picture quality is always good on my player...Most that saw it in ...

I type this with tears in my eyes. There's a few members who have remembered me talking about my Pom named Scotty. He's the first and only dog I have ever owned in my lfe.Seabeescotty bought him for me and he's way over 10yrs old. Today I noticed that his bottom didn't look right. It looked to me that it was some what blown out. It's common for that breed of dog when they age.I know what I need to do...

So I bought a T250 subwoofer from The Speaker Company, along with a whole slew of other speakers. Everything seems to work perfect except for the sub. Im using a Onkyo SR606 receiver with a Monoprice subwoofer cable hooked from the LFE port on the receiver to the LFE port on the sub. The sub is turned on and the LPF is set to around 80, on the sub itself. Through the Onkyo I have told the ...

they fit, though a little "loose". Firms up when you screw them all the way in. However, I did not like the way they worked. I have the subs sitting on 12"x12" concrete paving blocks with 2 block on top of them. They still jumped too much. They are much better in my set up with the standard rubber feet.
