Would really appreciate your advice as my trusty 1999 Forester could use some TLC soon! Am more than willing to drive to Lafayette, Hammond or New Orleans to take care of her upcoming needs (86,000 miles). ps. the tight back tire area smells like rubber burns similar to the smell 18-wheelers produce coming down a long steep grade while riding the brakes... and for the life of me, I can't ...

Hi all, I always see tubs of dried figs (black mission and calimyrna) at Trader Joe's, and so I was planning to buy some tonight to make a recipe this weekend, but they didn't have any! The employees told me they've been out of them for a while. Does anyone know where else I can find dried figs in the LA area (preferably south bay part of LA)? Thanks!

I hate it when Charger home games are on Fox. It seems like they never show them in the LA market. As of now, they will be showing the Dallas vs GB game instead. http://the506.com/nflmaps/2009/10-FOX-L.html And we get to listen to Joe Buck and Troy Aikman call the game. Oh joy. I hate Fox.

You should try this place: http://www.yelp.com/bi... It's not in LA the city or even LA the county (it's barely in Ventura County), but man is it amazing. Roll lovers and traditional lovers alike will love this place. The rolls are extremely light, too; while they have their own sauce, it's not overly heavy sauce that makes your stomach cringe, and the taste is absolutely divine. No ...

Soo....I was faced with a dilema: I wanted to learn how to weld, but I didn't want to spend week upon week at a community college, and I wanted more technical instruction than my buddies could offer in their garage with a six-pack and a welder. After a lot of searching I found this guy and took his class: http://weldingclass.info/Home_Page.php All I can say is that it was...
