Just learned yesterday that my Kroger has begun accepting competitor's coupons! Don't know how wide-spread this is, but for those who shop at Kroger, you might want to check with your store and see. This could mean lots of additional savings for us all! Also, I do not receive the Kroger mailers. I have tried everything I can think of to get myself on this mailing list, but don't seem ...

So today at Kroger, I have a fussy baby in express line. Woman ahead has too many items+ which is, eh, pretty typical. Usually just irritates me a bit. But the cashier actually turned her away and said, "Sorry, but this is for less than 15 items. You'll need to pick another line." The woman looked seriously irritated and shocked. She kind of made a bit of a scene as she scoffed off. ...

I just found out that Kroger and Randalls both mark down their seafood that does not sell and have a near expiration date. I bought salmon for $3.59 a lb. It never goes on sale below $6/lb. It tasted great. Our family is trying to consume fresh seafood four times a week for many reasons: obviously for health, but also for the ease of cooking. Seafood takes minutes to cook compared to meat. It...

Anyone else try this the way it is stated on our list? I went in today and was told I could not use the mushy pasta version the list suggested. It had to be one of the 'selected' varieties which was one of the stuffed pastas and much more $$ (which is not outlined in the ad or the store which ones 'they' are.) I thought the way this deal worked out was too good to be true!!
