King snake problem

I have recently purchased a 16 in. king snake who just shed a few weeks ago. lately he has been acting really aggressive, shaking his tail like a rattlesnake whenever i try to hold him/her. well i managed to get it out today and and there was a tiny drop of clear fluid coming out of its anus, and it looked kind of redish and... open. any suggestions? advice? thanks
