I've had a TERRIBLE time trying to sight this thing in (laser grips) and having it stay on target after each shot. Has anyone ever had the same problem and if so, what did you do to remedy it before you sent it back to the shop? (I've sighted in 2 other crimson trace lasers on a 92 FS and a Springfield Caspian and both didn't take more than 15 min each and are still right on target.)
*I also have a pair of plain Kimber 1911 custom sights & a UTG waist bag with built in holster for a small frame auto or revolver I want to get rid of these items so make an offer or if you buy enough ammo and want them i'll throw em in & a Fobus Tactical EM17 paddle HOLSTER which holds a Sig 226 or Glock 17 with attached Weapon light! $25 for holster or $40 for all items listed in this section.*...

Ok guys before you tear me up for this , I have a couple Pro CDPs (Custom Shop) guns. Here is my question why does it seem to me that I see more Custom Shop guns every where I go ... shops and many shows than all the other Kimber offerings combined? It seems to me that back in the day a custom shop gun from any maker was not very plentifull and usually a timely wait. I have to ask if Kimber ...

Well, my last day off was 2 sundays ago, and I finally had an opportunity to sneak out early today. So I came home and changed and headed up to the range to hang out with a friend of mine who works there and stretch the legs of my new Kimber. Damn this thing is nice to shoot!! Talk about a nice tight group!!! Granted I'm not exactly a crack shot (I'm happy with combat ...

Well, I had been Kimber lurking for some time, I held several Kimber's, Springfield Loaded's, TRP's and others at the 1500 and then shot a TLE at the local shooting range. I was impressed by how easy the pistol was to shoot,,, and then,,, I came across this deal on an unfired Custom II with 5 total magazines, Blade Tech IWB Holster, box papers tags etc and I picked up some Slim ...

I was purchasing a 10/22 from a private party and at the gun store they had a Custom Classic Stainless Series I on consignment. From my limited knowledge on the Series I, it has been my choice for a Kimber. Well this one was owned by a employee of the shop has had a couple hundred down the pipe and was sent to a reputable local smith to replace some parts with Ed Brown goodies. The gun was damn ...

Just purchased a new Custom CDP II and was wondering what type of cast bullets worked the best. SWC or RN and what weight seems to shoot the best for target shooting. Thanks for any input.

Selling my Kimber Tactical Custom II 5" with crimson trace laser grips and 5 magazines (2 kimber 3 chip) original case, lock, etc. Gun has had about 600 rounds through it. Ambi safety was switched out for extended active shooter safety. Safety done by JR Combat Customs in Sacramento. It is VERY positive and moves on and off with ease. The rest of the gun is stock with the exception of the grips ...

Well, I picked up the Kimber 84M LPT (.223) about 3 months ago and recently mounted a Nightforce scope (12-42x56mm NXS) on it. Today, I received a custom Remington 700 (.308), which was built by Roy @ Grayguns. Thank you Roy, I love the rifle. That Timney trigger breaks like an icicle stick. I mounted a Millet LRS-1 scope (6-25x56mm) on it. Unfortunately, the Millet scope requires 35mm ...

the "Custom Shop" guns were originally short run productions, 1000-2500 units. Those such as the Eclipse and CDP were, I guess, popular enough to become regular catalogued items, but retain the markings. Now it's the "pretty" guns that bear the inscription... The limited run pistols were maybe a little better fitted...As i recall from a conversation with Dennis, many years ago, a ...
