.11/26/09) I often tell my nine doctors that I will give them all up before I give up my Acupuncturist, Steve Phillips, and my Bowen Therapist, Christine Jones. I have been seeing Steve for about three years and Christine for over ten years. I had open heart surgery last July 12th, 2006 and was able to endure the post-operative chest pain because of Steve's expert care. I have had over 19 ...

Well I typed that okay without crying! I am a 41 year old wife and mother of an 8 year old son. We think my failure was due to diabetes existing and not being diagnosed. That and I think I am invincible and nothing can be wrong with me. I have also been over weight my entire life. I had bariatric surgery and lost 110 pounds. I gained 60 back and have since lost 15. My kidney's are ...

This was not a surprise to anyone as we knew it was coming for several months. I went to see her yesterday and my uncle was saying that the doctors were ...

I know I am not pregnant, but I still get scared that I am. I get scared to the point that my heart feels like it is coming out of my chest when I think about it. I am too young to be having a child. I am not sexually active, the only interaction that I have gotten close with is dryhumping with several layers of clothing in between us. Which is why I'm sure I am not pregnant. Regardless of this I...

Within the last year I was given a full dose of radioactive Radioactive iodine uptake iodine ( second time in 5 years) due to a small indication of some possible remaining thyroid cell (had competely removed five years before). No blood test was done regarding kidney filtration abilities prior to giving me this dose. Shortly thereafter, when a GI tract problem occured, ...

I'm sorry to hear about your grandmother. In order to answer your question appropriately could you clarify as to which cath (IV, central line, dialysis cath, urinary cath?).

Our sister Smokey (now at the Bridge) had CRF, and Fancy Feast was all she would eat, and sometimes Purina Indoor dry. She hated the kidney food, and Mom's vet said any food is better than no food and to let her eat whatever she wanted. Smokey's CRF was caused by poisoning from eating part of a peace lily, so it was more like ARF. She only made it 8 months after her diagnosis, so Mom is ...

Oh, good grief, Schultz! Good catch again, Mum. Yes, sigh, it's probably the new food. But I also wonder if the antibiotic and Metro.... (I can't spell it, either!) might be causing it, too. I agree with Jerri's idea of cutting back 25% on the insulin until you hear back from your vet. Keep us posted on what the vet says.

Melamin is used in ferilizing crops and not humans. I can't believe China adds melamine in their milk products. I think this is their way to reduce the population of the world.
