Yesterday my hazard lights started to flash after the car was turned off. They flash about every 2-3 minutes, indefinitely. They will also cause the interior doom light to come on. It is as if you were unlocking the doors with the key fob. This only happens if you try to lock the car. The doors lock, but lights will flash. Also the horn doesnt blow when you arm the alarm. alright i managed to make the dumbest decision of my life and buy a car and get upside down by trading it in for another car after dropping 2500$ into fixing a head gasket..i got pissed and traded it in when it had another 500$ problem a week later...thats wouldnt have been so bad had i kept that turboed gas saving car..but the part that really blows gaskets...is that i hate the car i traded it ...

it to 400,000 with least expense? Starting with models 2002 or newer,...I'm a die hard Toyota fan but I've gotta make some coldblooded decisions in the next few days that will affect the family for about the next 5 yrs concerning an automobile! HELP!!!

Yes and that is the way Pontiac and many others design their throttle response I have owned many cars HP and luxury during my 50+ years of driving here and in Europe never been in an accident only speeding tickets in my earlier years. Lets face it no car maker is going to please everybody but I will keep my Amanti and remember the Audi saga.

TB should be around 400-700 - it depends on your dealer. As for the other belts - all depends on wear (oil stains, cracks, stretch...). They may or may not to be replaced.

The Amanti's ignition incorporates an immobilizer feature for theft protection as well as a "fail-safe" system to prevent the doors from being locked if the key is left in the ignition. It is a part of the ignition system and frequently goes wrong in the amanti's and causes a no start condition
