Hi, We're planning to take a three day break at the Khao Yai Garden Lodge and take the one and a half day tour organized by them. Will appreciate any feedback from anyone who has already stayed here / taken this tour. Are there more such options available for The Khao Yai National Park?

Arriving in BKK on 12th April, gonna go straight to Khao San Road and find some where to stay for a few days before moving on to the islands. Can anybody recommend somewhere cheap and cheerful? On a budget y'see. Is £10 per night pushing it a little???

Merry Christmas from Khao Lak to all our Khao Lak friends, your families and love ones, whether here in KL at the moment or throughout the world. Hope to see some of you soon. It's hot, sunny and very definitely for us, spending our first Xmas away from a snowy UK, very different but very wonderful! Best Wishes Alan & Barbara

Hoping to make it to Suan Lum tonight--what's the best/easiest way to get there from the Khao San area. And, does Suan Lum have food stalls too? If not, what's the best night food market? Thanks!

These Green Bee Eaters were seen in numbers around a field. Shots were taken in the golden light of a setting sun resulting in the brilliant sheen coming off the feathers. Why are the Hmong refugees at the Huai Nam Khao camp bordering Laos a population in danger? Most of the refugees now in the camp came from the forest of Laos, where they fled and hid from the government of Laos which in the past has captured them, sent them to jail, or sometimes even killed them. The Hmong cooperated with the American government during the Vietnam War. The Hmong fear for their ...

More than 7,000 Hmong refugees at the Huai Nam Khao camp in Phetchabun, Thailand, are in danger of being returned to Laos, where they fear political persecution for cooperating with the United States government during the US-Vietnam War. To this day, the Hmong continue to hide in the remote jungles of Laos, and thousands languish in squalid camps where conditions are crowded and epidemics are a ...
