KEYMAP COMMENTS AND SUGGESTIONS Tom McLaughlin Keymap is an important software suite. It is based around creating sample sets (instruments) for Logic’s EXS24 sampler. There are many algorithms and concepts within Keymap that are unique to the world of sample editing and Redmatica are to be applauded for its creativity, thoughtfulness and innovation. What follows are some of my ...

just got the keymap software. have futzed around for a few days. seems light years ahead of the logic exs editor. problem is, it looks WAY more intricate and complicated than i need it to be. but fantastic. my main holdup seems to be getting my new instruments confined to a standard 88-key keyboard. (which my controller is). seems as if keymap's main editor allows (and, in fact, ...

Hello, I use an AZERTY keyboard but on an english install of Ubuntu. With Netbeans, the key are mapped according to my Ubuntu key map (AZERTY) but when I use shortcuts (in Netbeans) the keyboard is mapped as a QWERTY keyboard. (ie I have to press CTRL+W instead of CTRL+Z to cancel something). This behaviour is very disturbing but I can't see where to change this option. Any idea ?

Hi Basically, my finder was behaving erratically, I couldn't tab through programs, could only have one window open at a time and I couldn't type anything - because every character was some bizarre punctuation mark or something weird I'd never seen. I thought that shutting the computer down and restarting would solve my problem, but when I got to my login screen, it was clear that...

Hey folks, I thought it would be a good idea to solicit input on the keymaps (button configurations), as I've come across a couple of ugly ones recently and can only assume there are more on other players. Please try and be as objective as possible ("I like it better that way" is not good enough) and don't compare Rockbox to the original firmware ("the Apple interface does this when I...

Something that has annoyed me on ipodvideo in several games, eg. jewels: rewind/menu/forward/play act as left/up/right/down, respectively.  Makes perfect sense.  But at the same time, scroll up/scroll down also act as left/right.  This often interferes finger movement eg. from right to up, while not lifting your finger from the button wheel completely, hence you're accidentally ...
