Can I reprogram a single key with VAG COM? Because all I have one single key. Everything I found regarding this is saying program with another key. All I want is my keyfob or another keyfob working. I have two keyfobs. One had a dead battery. I threw that battery away and swapped in the other good one, because the other fob was getting a bit torn up. Can someone tell me how to program keyfob on 04 Malibu? Is there anyone that can tell me how to program a keyfob on an 04 Malibu LS. (newer body style Malibu) Can this be done at home or does it HAVE to be taken to a dealer? I know I was able to do it on my f-bods, but wasn't sure on this one....

Hey guys...have a little problem. At about 0200 hrs this morning, lights and horns went off...ran outside to see what was going on...and nothing. Hit unlock button on keyfob and went back to bed. Same thing about an hour later and now it has been going on every 20-30 mins or so. I researched the forum and found only 2 cases of the same thing happening...its funny, I left the dome light on inside ...

I recently vag'd my 02 A4 so its in Canadian mode for daytime running lights and also windows closing via key fob. Since doing so I can no longer unlock my doors from inside the car unless I use the keyfob. Any idea what I might have screwed up?

I haven't touched my car in 2 weeks, came out to see all the windows were opened including the sunroof. I would understand if the keyfob was pressed against something, but it was just sitting there on my table. Has anyone else experienced this? No, my house isn't haunted.

Alright folks, hope everyone's well. Small problem as ever - my keyfob has stopped working. No problem I thought - only had a cheap but 3 month old battery in it, probably crap. Replaced with a decent battery - nowt - no life at all. Can't see how the fob could possibly have broken, tried 4 batteries (1 decent and 3 brand new cheapo jobbies) and no luck. get a new battery. i think you should be fine reprogramming if both were wiped clear. i dont think the key in the ignition has anything to do with being programmed, just to prove that you have a key and are the owner. you can program a second key with the valet key in the ignition.

Good News and Bad News. Good news: I got my keys in the mail today. They look pretty good - one has outlined white letters and one doesn't - but no big deal. about 100ft havent really tried it further, when i come out of work and around the corner of the building to where i can see the car i hit the button to unlock then again to roll down the windows.( in the warm weather that is.) it has always worked without a hiccup but this is also facing the front of the car and i havent tried it from the back because i always back in.

Can you help me find the name and style number of this beautiful coach keyfob? I've been looking for one ever since I left one at the outlet a couple years ago! What was I thinking!? This is the closest picture I could find to the real thing. I know this one is fake..it's from the ioffer site. I couldn't find even a real pic!! I know it exists though!
