I noticed with the keto that there is alot of animal fats, is there any way to avoid that? Also can you eat unlimited amounts of greens like broccoli, salad, or cabbage? I cant always whip out p.b when I'm in the middle of work, haha. Also do I eat a protien every three hours? And what veggies are off limits, carrots and tomatoes?

Have noticed increased shedding the 4 weeks on keto. Anyone else experience this? Its hard to put a finger on a reason without new blood work but im guessing increased testosterone could be one of them, along with shock of fast weight loss and cutting calories quickly(carbs) Hair been brittle. do not want.

-I recently decided to go on keto, but my question is could this diet be used on a bulk too? -And i know i shouldn't be consuming sugars, but does that also exclude post workout sugars too? (Fruits, dextrose, etc) If so, how many grams? - Can i consume canned tuna and canned spam? (i've read that you shouldn't consume processed foods, but these have little to no carbs and contain protein.)...

Hey Everyone! I've been on keto since Oct 17th. I had lost 5 pounds the first week and since then nothing. I don't know what I'm doing wrong! I'm so frustrated. I have only done two carb ups. do u have (diet) fizzy drinks on keto read citric acid & caffeine can throw it off. but having half a 500m bottle of diet/coke/fanta zero can hit the spot sometimes.. Last edited by quartz075; 25-11-2009 at 02:01 PM .

I have a quick question, when you start out on keto is it best to go 2 full weeks of no weekend carb ups to fully deplete your glycogen stores? and second i did the math and i weigh 190 lbs as of today i dont know my lbm so do i go 190 grams of protien and the rest of my cals in fat and fiberous veggies? lets say my keto PW shake was 20g of carbs and before that shake my carb intake was 35-40g through out the whole day up to the shake, would that PW shake carbs count as my intake and make it 60g or would my body use it RIGHT away and it wont count for my intake?
