Kaspersky Internet Security - Topic profile

whenever I try to uninstall this anti-virus software I'm getting a message like "This action is valid only for products that are installed currently".what can I do to uninstall this software

Hi Kaspersky intercepted a trojan in an email, and quarantined it on 6th August. I thought that it would be removed automatically after thirty days. It is still shown as being in quarantine. Any advise ? (actually have no idea where the quarantine file is in the system). Regards wjimbo

I think KIS is the much preferred / popular choice.... (I use NIS though!)

Obviously, after the last Windows updates (XP 32Bit /SP3) it seemed that the Kaspersky Internet Security 9 Installation was corrupted.. The computer didnt boot up well.. Anti-Virus is just that, Anti-Virus only. The internet security comes with Anti-Virus, Firewall, Anti-Spyware, Spam Blocker, etc... I run KIS 2009 and love it.

You should certainly encountered some cases that KIS/KAV will change the Update Source during a network failure & it surely downloaded some update files before this failure. As I know, KIS7 would resume the download of update files, while KIS 8.0.0.454 will restart downloading Update files from beginning upon an "Update Source Changing". Reinstall The same suite (trial or otherwise) and then uninstall properly.

Works great, better than the last version, and upgrade was free as above. Best of breed and best pricing plans on the market I would say.
