Had a good day at KMIA. Nikon D80 with 80-400VR mostly, except the big boys (B747) wouldn't fit sideways so those were shot with D80+18-70mm 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10. 11. Lots more from this set at my gallery .

I was close to the airport (KMIA) today after a meeting. I had with me the D300 + Nikon 105/2.0 AIS Micro (old manual lens). My usual lens for planespotting is the 80-400VR but most of the shots there are between 120-150 mm anyway so I figured why not give it a try. The 105 AIS should be OK with a small crop. See for yourself.

The MD-11 has a "FADEC BAR" that to my knowledge will spool beyond max rated by slamming the throttles to the firewall removing protection. I have had several flights overloaded that resulted in fuel deversion for uplift, one was an 8 hr flight and was told we were as heavy as 20k lbs overweight. Me parece que el articulo de la verdad esta un pelin exagerado, aunque aun asi no estoy deacuerdo con lo que esta haciendo Cadivi, pero bueno.... que s epuede esperar???. Lo unico bueno que le veo a esto es haber si con la baja de la demanda bajan los precios que andan por la estratosfera.
