Kegs from Keg Connection Hey guys. I got my gift from my parents the other day which happened to be a kegging system(Awesome!!!!). Anyways, the keg is obviously a reconditioned one, but it did not look like it was cleaned at all. There is a ring of gunk kinda in it and it still smells of a previous soda in it. ...

We recently had some -10 deg F weather here. My kegerator is in an unheated, unattached garage. I dug through the snow today and tried to draw a beer. It seems that my kegs froze in the kegerator. Will this effect my beer?

It's true folks, after 2 yrs & about 5000 bottles I have gone to the lazy side with my brewing. Here I'm pulling my 2nd ever pint earlier tonight (Oatmeal Stout). I have 6 old style kegs, a 5# & 15# tank, and 4 picnic taps. Here was my first ever pint pulled from a keg tonight. It was a 7.7% Simcoe IPA. Can't wait to fill the other 3 kegs in a couple ...

Midwest brewery has 50 American Sanke, stainless steel, 15.5 gallon kegs for sale. These are "bung bellied" kegs and are in good shape. They are excellent for cask beer and dry hopping in the keg. $40.00 a piece. Price negotiable if you want them all. Buyer responsible for shipping costs, but we are willing to arrange shipping. Please call: 816-523-4677. Ask for a Brewer.

My brewing buddy and I have found 5 pin-lock kegs in the past two weeks. Some need some maintenance, and some are in great condition. I think a Coke delivery guy is dumping empties or something, and we're reaping the benefits. Anyways, I hadn't planned on getting into kegging for awhile but this kinda forces it. I'm wondering if it's best to just buy my tank and regulator from the LHBS or...

While cleaning and reconditioning our supply of used kegs yesterday, we found that one of them will not seal up. Apparently while being shipped some banding squeezed the top of the keg, and the opening is now not the right shape. The long dimension is now slightly shorter and the short dimension is slightly wider, so the lid can't press the gasket enough. I have no illusions that there's a...

Many of you have received notice for the sale of kegs from Labatt Breweries. They are selling 10,000 ½ Bbl Sankey D kegs at a great price. These are all stainless steel (no rubber sides, etc) and were in use until very recently. (kegs are in Canada) Unfortunately, being a big brewer they do things in a big way and they are only willing to deal in 1000 kegs or greater quantities. If you are able ...

Midwest Supplies has a few pdf files that gives some good "how to" background info on the kegs and bungs. I bought the 2 piece bungs from them after I bought a few min-kegs off craigslist. I think they are pretty cool - we'll see how well they perform relative to the bottles I used for the same batch. http://www.midwestsupplies.com/products/ProdByCat. aspx?Cat=100

I would emai/call keg connection. They claim all there kegs come clean and tested. All 6 of the ones I have got from them have been. If in fact they still smell of soda, then need to be soaked in how water & oxyclean and all O-rings and seals need to be replaced. But I would start by called keg connection. They...

Thanks! I wasn't sure if anyone saw I posted a thread asking the same question. A T would be so much cheaper and easy. but I was thinking about buying a cheap plastic manifold so I could close it when I'm not serving the sankey.
