and I can't work out how to get rid of it! I mean, I can delete it, but can I 'train' hotmail to know that this stuff is junk like I can with mozilla? It never used to be this bad - I must have missed a 'don't contact me' button somewhere...

I'm not sure if this is the proper forum to ask this question, but it is related to our rollout of Exchange. Our organization decided to turn off Junk Mail filtering on the client side. We created a client configuration tool using Primal Script (an .exe) that configures Outlook 07, as well as other clients used by the organization, by wrapping up a vbscript and an .MSP file. The .MSP was used to...

REVENGE ON THE TELEMARKETER Three Little Words That Work!! (1) The three little words: 'Hold On, Please...' Saying this, while putting down your phone and walking off ( instead of hanging-up immediately) would make each telemarketing call so much more time-consuming that boiler room sales would grind to a halt. Then when you eventually hear BT's 'beep-beep-beep' tone, you ...

is it possible to dispatch Junk mail filter update by Group policy? there are 8x workstations. The update is msp file, not msi. i cannot put it in Group policy software installation. Normal users cannot install software. is the only way to do it one by one manually? Thanks. Tony

Anyone got a good idea how to stop phone calls from ANY telemarketer or organization that calls for money? And how about paper mail? I get more junk mail than anyone I know. I have signed up for the "do not call" but I still get the phone calls. On a side note what do you guys do when they call? Are you nice, hang up the phone, whistle loud..

Hello, I am using Outlook 2007 SP2 connected to Exchange Server 2007 (don't know anything more about the Exchange config). I get an Outlook pop-up message every few minutes saying: Unable to add to the server junk e-mail lists, you are over the size allowed on the server. The junk e-mail filter on the server will be disabled until your junk e-mail lists have been reduced to the size allowed on...

What part of throwing away a piece of mail without opening it is considered responsible? I know BOA is evil. I've still got the credit card notice that jacks our rates up to the ceiling. I plan on parting ways with them as soon as possible. what i have a problem with is that people don't give a shit here about the actual argument. It's always straight to the torches here. I also have a problem...

'The initial contact is made by a computer...' Not always. The problem is that you're lumping every single type of call all in together when in fact the calls can be of many different types and originate from many different places, including locally. So you may get charity calls, market research calls (including government surveys) and then there's the telemarketing calls (the ones ...

A CFL is about 40% efficient, an incandesant is about 9% efficient (91% is raw heat or light that is radiated in the non visible spectrum and thus wasted). That is why the made the law. that's over 400% more efficient , so yah, the law makes sense. The rating on the package is for the equivilant light output, and I agree, a "60" CFL looks more like a "40" incandesant. On the back of the ...

Agree with Sarah. Also, when you do get a piece of junk mail don;t just delete it but send it to your junk folder as this 'trains' hotmail as well so over quite a short period of time your junk mail is cut. I get about 40 a day in my junk folder according to the counter (I never look at them) but very rarely get any in my inbox anymore

Personally, I would use a GPO rather than a script: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc17918 3.aspx Configure junk e-mail settings in Outlook 2007
