If any of you who have ever ordered anything from Next Directory get what looks like a junk mail through the post, don't just immediately bin it. I usually do so but fortunately read this one... right down to the last paragraph. I was going to import scanned image here so you could see how easy it was to miss but have just realised I can't. The paragraph (which comes after a load of ...

We have a user who has no automatic filtering of junk mail and no blocked senders. He still gets the odd junk mail message that is actually junk and one or two that are not junk. I found people having the same problems and Exchange 2003 has server side junk mail filtering option. We dont want to change exchange options because noone else are having problems. How do I (if its ...

We've recently given Adam&Eve our business. Today, we are disturbed by the junk mail that have begun to arrive from the porn industry. It started this week. Yesterday's was a 50% off coupon from Adam&Eve. Today, it was from a completely different company, and far more explicit. It even said "sexually explicit ad" on the front, and inside was an booklet of adult DVD's with explicity photos. How ...

Most of these come with postage-prepaid return envelopes, right? It costs them more than the regular postage 'IF' and when they are returned. It costs them nothing if you throw them away! In that case, why not get rid of...

Hey everyone...I was writing and email, and went to choose an email address and I noticed an email address from someone named Jack. There were a dozen of them. At closer look, I found tons of email addresses that were used from being sent spam. So I looked in my address book...not there...just when I go to compose an email. I went into email then options. Under options is an option for "...

I use Google's SMTP server for outbound email. As we all know, when sending using another providers SMTP, the recipient sees "FROM: ??gmail.com [on behalf of ??tampabay.rr.com]" My question is, how do ISP's spam/junkmail filters handle this situation? Do they filter on gmail.com or tampabay.rr.com? Is it provider-specific? My concern is that several people/businesses that I ...

Under no circumstances were they allowed to put junk mail where there was a No Junk Mail sign. If there was junk mail still in the letterbox from the previous delivery, they were not allowed to leave any more until the letterbox had been cleared. I will second that from frecklefacegrace as i know this from experience also . My teenagers also used to deliver these up until 8 weeks ...
