I've gotten really good jumping rope the last couple years, and I think I'm to the point where I would benefit by using a pro-grade rope, rather than the cheap-o plastic ones at the gym. I bought a top of the line Nike one about a year ago for at home, and it's a piece of shit. Too heavy, and I don't like the leather rope. Anyone jump rope and can recommend a good one to buy?

Hi Helene, I am 18 month postpartum. Does jumping rope regularly weaken the pelvic floor muscles or does it actually strengthen the pelvic floor muscles by constantly challenging the muscles to be pulled in and up? Jumping rope instructionals?

I just bought a jump rope and have been trying to do some of the "tricks" with it, ie switching it around and all that crazy stuff. Does anyone know of any good instructionals for this? I've been browsing around on Youtube, but simply saying "switch" doesn't exactly teach how to do it. Thanks.

Yesterday, I started jumping rope, doing Tabata intervals. Near the end, my head started to ache really bad, and I thought nothing of it. Today, I started, and after a minute, my head was on fire with pain. Now I can usually deal with it, but my head felt as if it was being split. Anyone jump rope for cardio? I have alwasy heard that Jumprope is an awesome way to burn claories, and is a tremendouse cardiovascular workout, but I don't have much experience with it, nor do I no where to start. I think I am going to go to Dicks and pick up a nice jump rope and start, but I'd like to get some input first. Anyone jump rope on a regular bassis?
