Each school district maintains their own boundaries. I'm sure that some county or State database also contains the boundaries for the district, but not the individual schools. The districts maintain the school attendance boundaries, and they change them frequently based on demographic shifts. They have to place the students where they have the resources and not overload any of the campuses. ...

Our jr. high band was invited to play with the high school band for the local high school's homecoming game. They were the Trojans (Gaithersburg, MD) and were playing against the Seneca Valley Eagles (near there). These schools were major rivals and our jr. high fed both. As they were crowning the homecoming queen, a group of guys from Seneca Valley ran across the field ...

Ellen Owens will be celebrating her 93rd birthday this month. Mrs Owens was a teacher at DuPont for many years, and before that she taught at Ft. Caroline for a couple of years. She graduated from Jacksonville University (Cum Laude!) and was a girl scout leader in Jacksonville many years ago. She still shops at Publix every weekend. If anyone was a student, or a scout, and wants to tell a ...

You are correct in stating that this occured like 9 years ago. Why this is relevent today is that this person has risen to a position of authority within the current admin. It is simply not acceptable. I am not a prude and a persons sexual orientation is only of interest to me when I am having sex with them. Kevin Jennings was wrong then and should not be in the position that he is in ...

Jack has the potential to be a big time player who can do it all !! Can shoot, great length, size and can put the ball on the floor. One thing I would like to see Jack do more of is to use his opposite hand to keep defenders honest and be that player that is even more difficult to defend. Jack has terrific parents that have instilled a great value system and respect for himself and ...

Saco (Trojans), although undefeated, has shown signs of weekness on the road... Having to come back against Kennebunk and winning a tight one against Marshwood. They have tons of size, strength and skill, but the playing time rules combined with a roster of 15 doesn't make things easy!

My kids are at home, but they do make their own lunches. However, since they started making their own, there have been strict rules. I suppose I'd be willing to shake things up now that three of them are teens, but they've never asked, so.. we just let sleeping dogs lie. heehee! Our kids have either a half or a whole sammich, fresh fruit and raw veggies, and one palm-full of chips or ...
