I am looking for a quaint hotel with good food and a nice view of the Mediterranean in old Joppa. I would need to seat 35 people for dinner. Any suggestions?

Hey guys. After talking with claphamsa and data, looks like a few of us are going to get together on Saturday (time TBD) at my place. I'm sharing out a ton of wine bottles I've been picking up from a wine bar with Stephin and figured we could make a day of mead drinking. Data said he might even want to brew. If you're local and bored, we can make a day of drinking and hanging out. No ...

The folks from Joppa Flats Audubon Center will be leading a birding tour around Cape Ann tomorrow (Nov 25) from 9:30 till 12:30 (though these things tend to run a little overtime). Meet at the Friendly's by the rotary. Cost is $12 ($15 for birders who, for some reason, aren't Mass Audubon members). I'm hoping we'll see the King Eider that's been spotted lately around Good Harbor Beach. Come ...

I generally think that specific types of materials do best in specific applications. Here's something I cribbed from Paul Joppa of Bottlehead: Quote Carbon composition is the best for low inductance, which is important in grid stoppers which are effective at hundreds of MHz. They are noisy, but only if they have DC current through them, and the noise is proportional to the resistance. So as ...

I am planning a brew day at my place on 11/29. I know I threw around a few dates at the Joppa brew day, but this looks like the day. It would be at my place zip code 19363. Anyone interested.

I'm fairly new to mineral make-up - have always hated liquid foundation and tried BE and found it easier to use but wasn't exactly blown away with how it made me look. So having read some of the threads on this site I ordered samples from several other companies (Joppa, EGM and Aromaleigh) My problem is that other than one of the Joppa samples being obviously way too pale, the rest ...

As Joppa already said, your main issue with France (or any European country, for that matter) is going to be getting a long stay visa. For that you'll basically need a job, and jobs of any sort are kind of hard to come by right now. As far as your other interests and requirements - political orientation in France is considerably different than in the US. What you consider far-left...
