According to wikipedia: Taylor Kitsch as John Carter. Lynn Collins as Dejah Thoris. Willem Dafoe as Tars ...

I know THE HOBBIT will be huge, bu we know what to expect there in terms of visuals, but I have know idea what JCOM will look like. For me, now my WILD aniticipation to see AVATAR is over, JCOM is the heir to the throne. Andrew Staton is to animation what James Cameron is to us. EXPECT big things from him over the next decade.

The people who make John Carter of Mars can be so thankful that Cameron has perfected technology... Cause that movie is full of different aliens that need to be photoreal... Only thing is, whether they'll succeed in making a good movie or we'll now have 10s of Avatar wannabes who'll lose the same technique but just will *beep* up... like after original Star Wars

Realize this thread has limited appeal but if you're into 60s British beat bands, UK harmony pop, Brian Wilsony pop etc check out the three download albums called "Hidden Gems of Tin Pan Alley". Demos for most of Carter/Lewis' big hits are there like "Can You Hear My Heartbeat" among many others. What's cool is that there are many tracks that had been targeted for bands that never got ...

Indeed! As a fan of the books since I was a kid, I'm really looking forward to JCOM. AVATAR introduced us to the Na'vi, but with JCOM comes the green, 12-foot tall, four-armed Tharks -- who fight with swords and radium pistols. Luxuriate in the eclectic... http://www.eccentric-cinema.com
