I found some info about this in the Audio Circle forums. Basically save music files (in any format) and then run the files through Audacity and do a spectrum analysis. With some simple calculations someone was able to tell the differences between 4 random music clips that had jitter artificially added. I did the same thing and got the same results... Anyone out there spend any time on this?

I have a problem with jitter between my router in my house and the first gateway router to the Internet. I see the problem on VoIP calls using both Vonage and my corporate computer based VoIP solution, and video on demand on my non-DVR setup box. The VoIP blanks out and the video on demand stops for half a second every ~5 seconds. I have a direct ethernet connection to my ONT and use the...

Just got my 4890 installed last night and am having some issues. One being that when I open a video file that will play in MPC-HC with DXVA, my screen does a quick flicker and then its fine. Same things happens when I close MPC-HC. Non DXVA videos videos don't cause it to happen. Win 7 x64 - Cat 9.11

Hoping you can help. I'm trying to interpret the raw traffic from the PBX and I'm getting confused by the documentation. Specifically I'm having a hard time understanding the Jitter/packet loss/Latency pegs. My questions are... How are the pegs generated...Specifically within a sample window? How do you define a sample window? (SamplePeriod,SampleRateWindow,MinSampleCnt). Wha t do these ...

okay so... Im having this extremly weird issue.... As you can see, my ping is pretty acceptable (say good LOL) around 50ms. Also, on speedtest.net, I get 3 ms with a 1 ms jitter. But the thing is THE OTHER PLAYERS. Why do they have such high ping??? I don't understand...they don't seem to have issues but for me, there is a little delay between when I shoot them, and when ...

Over the last several days I have noticed that my speedo is acting very sporadic, it will jitter/jump 5-10km/h out of the blue intermittently anywhere from slower city driving to highway speed. This affects the car the most when the cruise is set as it will try to adjust for the speed difference jerking the car/braking. Any ideas? Suggestions?

Hello All I have used stll video images before and I have used the flicker filter to get rid of the video flicker or jitter that you get with still images. But I have this flicker problem I can't get rid of. I added a couple of matte shot to the timeline. So the first video track was a full screen black and white image. The second track was a still of a person that I cut out ...

There were many discussions on the internet about lossless CD ripping to the HD actually produces a better sound quality than the original CD, especially when the CD is not made with high quality or has excessive wear. The theory behind it is the old "jitter" talk. Basically, by coping the exact data to HD via software like Exact Audio Copy, any potential "jitter" issue casued by the quality of ...
