This is an original L Jetronic fuel injection wiring harness from a motor that has been in storage for the last ten years or more - which came from a wrecked car that supposedly had just 60,00 miles on the odometer. This is the harness that connects the ECU, and all the fuel injection components together. It has 12 or 13 connectors which are all in good condition. And I didn't see any ...

Does anyone know the difference between a KE-Jetronic ECU for an '87 GTI 16V and for a Scirocco 16V? Since both use the 1.8L 16V PL engine I thought they would have the same ECU, but they don't. 0 280 800 180 for the '87 GTI 16V 0 280 800 042(043) for the Scirocco 16V What's the difference?

Hello everyone, For those of you with older cars, I have just finished my dumbed down idiots guide to the workings of the famed Bosch K-Jetronic mechanical fuel injection system. It can be accessed from the front page of my website: http://www.Auto-TaT.co.uk I just thought I'd adverrtise it a bit as it could be of interest to some of you. Cheers.

Anyone found a parts supplier for the charge air pressure and over pressure switches used on the intercooled 240s? Also looking for a supplier of jetronic plug-ends and a compatible type of bullet connectors to fit in grey plugs for the harness. Many thanks.

Gentlemen, My 86 C2 2.7 Alpina was recently assaulted by a volvo wagon running a stop sign tragically bending the rear end... So I've bought a 90 325is to take some of the good bits from the recently deceased C2 and bring it back to life, namely the engine and other tasty bits.. The only difficulty is that the alpina motor is an earlier jetronic model. Both engines have big throttle bodies...

I have a 1980 grey market 635. I need an AFM (pretty sure on this one) and can't find one. Ralph in SoCal off bigcoupe.com has one off of a 1981 US 633. Its still L jet but his car has the 122 ecu. I tried putting one of those in my car and it barely ran. he said the AFM is usually matched to the computer, thus meaning his wouldn't work with mine. Anyone know L jet ...

G'day, I am a pug novice and have a 505 1984 executive with a replacement engine, however I don't know what kind of engine this is, (STi, GTi, K-jetronic, etc), and my workshop manual's walked. I think the new engine's slightly newer than the old engine, and I can easily go check systems etc, but none of the invoices from the past engine owners have the engine type written on it. Does ...

A co-worker has a 1970 Volvo P1800E, with Bosch D-Jetronic fuel injection. It's been sitting for years, but he's got it at a shop now to have it made road-worthy again. They're doing a few thousand dollars' worth of work, including replacing many fuel system components, exhaust, brakes, etc. The shop changed the oil and filter just to get the engine running, so they have a baseline, and they'd...

My 87 Spider has been sitting in the garage for the last few weeks due to a no start problem. I originally thought it might have been a bad fuel pump but in going through the Cold Start section of the L-Jetronic Diagnostic pages, I discovered that the TTS is showing 0 ohms between the W and G terminals on the switch as well as between both the G and ground and W and Ground. So zeroes all around ...

Looks like what I thought is the Scirocco 16V Jetronic module is what is sometimes referred to as KA-Jetronic. Here are pictures of the internals of the GTI 16V KE-Jetronic module with Bosch part number 0 280 800 180. Modified by GTIspirit at 9:54 AM 11-20-2009
