i started alfasud engine conversion to a 1.7 8v alfa 33 engine with its jetronic system i have got everything sorted and the engine in but i dont have the ignition module and i cant buy a new one coz its not avilable here in egypt so iam just asking 1-can I use the vw golf 2 ignition module with some mods in the wiring ? 2-the engine has a lambda probe sensor so its the "cat converter" ...

Hi there, so i got a JH motor 1.8 8v cis k jetronic and i want to swap a 1.8 16V motor. I wanna keep my cis lamda system, cuz i dont wanna do harness swap. So the swap is bolt-on or there are show stopper ? I know i should wire a knock box sensor, this sound relatively easy with relay and proper piece I know i can mount the WUR on the head. Can i keep my tranny 020 AEN or should i take the 020 ...

L-jetronic fuel injection question.

So this is driving me insane. The car has an early Bosch L-jetronic plus Lambda FI. I know there is false air between the air flow meter and the throttle body, so the whole thing fucks up after a few seconds of starting and running. But... When I unplug and remove the AFM altogether, the car runs just fine, minus not able to do quick WOT. How is that possible? Does the Lambda (O2) ...
