I don't think I have asked this question before, but I am after the name of a lovely looking Japanese restaurant, on the same side as Carefour. I stopped in there for some takeaway after shopping, and it was delicious. I did feel a bit under-dressed in my shorts and t/shirt, as I waited for my food, as it had lovely decor inside and was more up market than my usual dinner stop! I don't ...

Website: http://www.takarabunerestaurant.com/ Guys, I just went to this nice Japanese restaurant tonight based on this review from another fellow blogger. It's at Victoria park and Sheppard (beside Winners). This place is a pleasant surprise as the nice decoration and very clean. The sushi we ordered was fresh and had good portion. It cost more than AYCE but ...

Hi everyone, Any good ideas for a Japanese dinner after seeing a show at the Japan Society near 47th and 2nd? Trying to keep it thematic ... happy to take a short cab ride but if nothing of note is near enough we'll go to some favorites downtown. It'd be nice to try some of the better midtown places if possible though as we're never up there.

You might check Yelp!, Urbanspoon, TA restaurant reviews and/or similar websites specifically geared for dining for additional options, information, reviews, etc. You shouldn't have any problem finding a good one, SF has plenty of quality Japanese cuisine. A bigger question is how far you're willing to "travel" and/or whether you want to keep it within walking distance of ...

Ken, you'll love Oga's in Natick. I wasn't that impressed by Genki Ya either. Order the chef's daily selection fo sushi at Oga's - you really can't go wrong. These guys have maintained the art of sushi better than anyone else I've seen in the area! It's upscale-casual and reasonably priced.
