I am learning bass now, and have some friends that are drummers that want to jam. With one drummer we have picked some songs to play (RHCP, Nirvana, etc). The other drummer is more into jazz and more into improvising. Any recommendations for jamming with a jazz drummer? Pick a groove and see what happens? Learn some famous riffs to start with? I do have a small set of blues riffs I ...

Just a theroy question, I was wondering what the geniuses which make up the 2+2 stud forum think about jamming the pot on third. What hands do you like to do it with? Are there certain player types that you would jam against? Is it best not to 3 or 4 bet on third? Just want to hear your opinion.

When I first received my CS the slide stop would keep catching on the disassembly notch when hand cycling. Well, I finally got to the range to break it in and it keeps catching the disassembly notch while firing...locking up the weapon. This is happening with rounds still in the magazine. What's causing this and how do I fix it?

How do you attack a jigsaw puzzle?Odds are, you are constantly staring at the box it came in, looking for the bigger picture. You’re probably searching through the pieces, separating the edges and isolating those all-important four corner pieces. Then, you start matching similar colors, and jamming and wedging whatever fits. Not my wife’s Aunt Marjorie. She’s more [...] More...

First Look: 2011 Ford Mustang V-6 For 2011, Ford's entry-level pony car gains power while quenching its thirst. In days gone, muscle car wars revolved around jamming as much power under the hood as possible or setting a scorching quarter-mile time at the strip. Today, fuel economy plays an equally important part. Chevrolet fired an opening salvo by installing a potent yet thrifty V-6 into ...

These are off an '01 S4, stock (OEM) HID headlight housings. Lenses are clean, no cracks (normal pitting). There is 1 broken lower tab on passenger side and I just noticed that one of the adjusters is jamming (on same side). Although, I've never had any issues with aiming the lights. I bought these last year and I never noticed it until I recently took them out. Anyway, no bulbs...

Hello, This is a question aimed at reloaders mainly. Do you guys feel that the XD9 is one of those guns with a really tight chamber that will be suseptable to jamming if a slightly bulged reload gets in there? You know how some guns will eat even mildly bulged ammo while others won't hardly accept even a slight increase in size? I have taken care of the bulging with my .40 loads using a ...
