Would Ezri Dax have been more accepted if she was on the show a full seven years without any appearances of Jadzia Dax? My answer would be yes. Having watched quite a few episodes for the first time - she is pretty lousey to have around when a war was on - taken out of action twice in a season and then drops dead at the end (albeit with a little help from a Pah-Wraith).

I was thinking about this when reading another thread on here. The trek names (distinctly trek names) I would seriously consider giving my children are ~Girls~ Jadzia Kes Seven (also in a nod to some other tv shows...) Deanna ~Boys~ .... None I can think of
