I have tried to see if this has been posted already but I can't find anything about it. I'm on JSB but I may be asked to work freelance for maybe two days per week (It's not guaranteed to be two days every week though, it'll probably be less). So this probably would mean I would be self-employed, yes as I would have to look after my own taxes. How would this affect my JSB, would it ...

I've been lucky to get one day's work a week for the forseeable future in something related to what I studied in. The pay is a basic rate but will probably net me 60-70€. I am already receiving €132/week on JSB (as I live at home). Am I right in assuming the 60-70€ will be deducted from the 132 or is there another manner in which they calculate it? I'm just happy to have some sort of work even if...

Hi, I've been on Job Seekers Benefit (JSB) since finishing college in June and I've been offered promotions work for 4 weeks coming up to christmas. It's 9 - 5, 5 days a week. I've also just got my medical card in the post. Do I have to go off JSB for the 4 weeks and then re-apply for JSB again afterwards or am I entitled to remain signed on and forgo my payments for those weeks. Also can I...

Hey, My Jobseeker's Benefit ends in about five weeks. If I still haven't found a job by then, I will need to start receiving Jobseeker's Allowance. Can I start the application process for Jobseeker's Allowance now while I am still receiving Jobseeker's Benefit? My other question is this. I am currently living at home. I am moving away from home again across the country to begin a part-...

I struck out on the For Sale section - can anyone here chime in? -------------------------------------------------- ------------------- I'm looking at a 1LZ JSB '08 C6Z w/8,800 miles. Well the declining prices and 0% interest finally made a new ('09) Z06 fall into my price range. So yesterday I traded my '08 JSB Z51 coupe for an '09 JSB Z06. The color match made it easy to transfer my body color door handles and Z06 spoiler from one car to the other. I took a good test drive before pulling the trigger, and am happy to ...
