Why not a JREF book club? We suggest a book every 2 weeks or so, read it, discuss it. Sound good?

We have DSL Pro speed and it doesn't matter. I have always had trouble navigating JREF as quick as other forums or Google/Yahoo searches-links. How about you guys? Trying to determine if it is the site or is something in the cookies on our end or something.

Hello, Can anyone explain to me why this site (JREF Forums) has become very slow recently? I admit I haven't got the fastest computer on the block, but recently this site has slowed (for me) considerably. Pages now take sometimes as much as 30 seconds or more to fully load ... and I'm not even going to mention the snail's pace of the search feature. Really, what's going on?

For the upcoming test with Thomas Bowe, the JREF needs a whole lot of driver's licenses! Send a scan of your driver's license (with the number obscured. If you cannot make this alteration yourself, we can do it for you.) to Challenge@randi.org if you'd like to participate. If your birthdate is saved to the forum for a birthday announcement, you probably don't want to send your own ...

As a result of TAM3, I've decided to accelerate my creation of a skepticism / critical thinking unit. I was originally going to get stuck into it just before I returned back to an Australian teaching job, as I could implement such a unit in a Queensland school easier than I could in a UK school. However, I now see that the JREF has a niche for such resources and feel that it would be ...

I saw this first on BBC News last night. Seemed remarkable but something didn't quite ring true when I saw the keyboard and his helper. I hadn't heard of facilitated communication before but it certainly looked strange. But what of the brain scans which doctors allege showed he was indeed conscious not comatose?

The global economy sucks out loud. It's all my fault. For this and other reasons, there are people who want to attend TAM7 but do not have the funds necessary to pull it off. We can help them by offering scholarships to cover their registration fees. The JREF has done its part by lowering the registration fees this year. Now let's do our part. Please consider making a donation to the TAM7 ...
