Can someone help me to buffer a mp3 file on a server using the Blackberry buffered pllayback demo app provided with the jde? I hav loaded it in the simulator. And my mds is started but I m unable to play the audio. There is no error but it doesnt play. And yes it does save the local file with the name of the remote file but can't retrieve data from the url. The code looks all fine. ...

Hey all, I'm trying to set up my dev environment so I can get some apps built. http: //na.blackberry.com/eng/developers/javaappdev/java devenv.jsp Went to the above link to download the Blackberry JDE and the site won't let me download any of the versions. Am I missing something here? Is there anywhere else to download it? Any help would be appreciated thanks!

Ouch. I ate too many grapes *burp* Oh yeah, and I installed JDE 4.7 that was resting in an oddments folder and had not been previously used. It comes with 9500/9530 simulators, which is fine. However, I want to write an app. for my 8800 first. Where can I find the simulator that I want?

I have been exploring the Java development tools, primarily using the new downloads with latest Eclipse and the JDE plugin. I have a sample application which works fine in a 4.5 simulator, I uploaded the cod, jad jad jar files to a webserver and tried an OTA install on my 8900 4.6 device by specifiing the jad file. anyone know how to crack this? uses 12 alphanumber key. Hi, To deploy a package on enterprise server we should stop the web server and so the users. Is possible to schedule in some way the deploy by night? My release of JDE is 9.0 thanks
