Hello folks I have heard that it should get easier in future to convert from an ICAO CPL(H) to a JAA CPL(H), can anyone say something to that? That the difference between the CPL subjects and the ATPL subjects should get bigger and thus make it easier to do the CPL knowledge exams? How high are the chances that there is something happening concerning that topic soon? Because I'm thinking ...

Just wondering how many folk out there are signed up for doing a JAA IR (given current UK job prospects)? Are the UK schools busy? Are many low-ish houred people with IRs still looking for a job?

I was at Wal-Mart and I was looking through the cheap DVDs and I found the "SPIRITED KILLER TRILOGY" DVD for $5. The case is all images of Jaa and yet he's only in Spirited Killer for about 5 minutes and then [Show spoiler] he gets killed . Also, the dubbing is HILARIOUS! Tony Jaa's dubbing has probably the greatest line ever. And you can see it on Youtube .

JAA Renewal Quick question for you guys. I converted to JAA licenses about a year ago. It will be soon time for me to renew my CPL and IR. I don't plan to move back to Europe. What's the approach of JAA to the use of HUD in commercial aircraft? I know AS , DL , AA , WN love the HUD and I was told that WN got CAT II minima approved by their POI in HOU even though the airport is CAT I mins. What are the operators with HUD in Europe and did they have special approval by JAA like WN got? Thanks

Can a British National obtain an Indian CPL (H)? Currently flying with a JAA CPL (H) on FATA in India - love the country and want to stay! Been informed verbally from DGCA that it would not be a problem but would appreciate comments from those that know. Obviously subject to flying requirements and passing air regs + composite papers.
