i dont think the issuer statment will be given. i dont think it is in the works. i still like the issue and remain long. i dont see a rs soon. i think after all tax selling and such it will move somewhat higher

I'm closing an acocunt (will consolidate it into another citibank credit card), anyone knows when Citibank will report this to CRA? Will it report immediately when the card is closed? Or it'll wait until its next statement date and report at that time? In general, does issuer report credit line increase/decrease/reallocation right away or they will report only when statement is out? ...

Thank you, the most clear headed and concise comment in this thread. I was approved for one of these cards, and declined it upon receiving the paper with the fee/terms in clear writing. I didn't read that stuff when I signed up for it. (I was trying to fix my credit, but have since given up trying to get a "real credit card", my score is 625ish.)

I cannot understand how an electronic ACH payment received by BestBuy and posted to my account takes 12 days to reflect on my credit limit (aka. as my purchasing power) at Bestbuy. No other credit card I have administered by the same credit card issuer takes 1/2 the time as Bestbuy...$1600 I can't use at Bestbuy in time for Christmas!!! Ho, Ho, Ho!!
