I hear word that a major retailer is planning to expand in Islip and in exchange for some land will construct a major town facility at the Central Islip DPW site! What a great deal for the taxpayers! There's a new-ish place called Mama Mia's that's on Vets Hwy. in an office building less than a mile from the airport entrance, near the Hilton Garden Inn.
