..wherein you get to be a judge. Pick up to four chefs, in combinations of one or two. Mine's Mario Batali and Tony Bourdain vs. susan Feniger and Mary Sue Milliken. Imagine the food- and Bourdain would be there more for entertainment value because Batali is a force unto himself. But hey- it's my fantasy show.

Two weeks ago, we had an Iron Chef Party for the teens and twentys that we know in our congregation. It was so much fun! I'm so glad we did it. After having so many PC problems with the Technique clearance item, I was amused with poor Chef Mehta- he had a pressure cooker problem too- dang lid wouldn't come off! Reminded me of the poster (sorry forgot your handle) who had the same problem with the clearance PC from Technique. Seems that we all are having PC problems these days.

Chef Morimoto was allowed to speak this episode without help. I wonder why the decision to subtitle him was changed. I don't know what prompted the change but I liked it. His English may not be perfect but he can speak the language. It bugs the crap out of me when they dub over his voice, especially on ICA when he starts speaking in English and the dubbed voice takes over. TPTB ...
