Second time watching it since it first came out, and I forgot just how good it is. Emile Hirsch is just great, and he has a helluva supporting cast working with him. I already wanna watch it again. My friend is a fish. He live in my room. His fin is a cloud. He see me when I sleep.

Did anyone here not like this movie? I'm just wondering because I began watching it last night with high expectations; Emile Hirsch - great. Sean Penn - great. John Hurt - great. And the basic plot sounded great too. But I actually thought it was pretty darn tedious, and didn't get past the first half hour as a result. I just found the main character, Chris, so unlikeable and self-absorbed....

Yeah, the first time I watched it, I thought what Chris did was admirable. However, on reflection I'm pretty sure he was nuts. Doing anything to an extreme, like Chris did, is excessive, illogical, and insane. Having said that, the film was great; maybe my favorite from 07.
