Hi. I am very fond of social networking sites and likes to surf everytime. Now I am at my friends place and I tried logging to Twitter but it shows that the site is been banned and some weird smileys appear . I noticed that Internet Explorer 8 failed to install when I looked at the update history. Could this be why I keep recieving internet script errors when im not even visiting any web pages? And also since it didnt install it properly if at all, how can I install internet explorer 8 for windows vista? Is there a way to still install it on windows update? 1 person needs an answer I do too

I upgraded to internet explorer 8, every time I access explorer 8, now, I receive a message that search provider default is set to live search. I removed all other search providers, I still get this message each time explorer 8 is accessed, I always have live search as my default but this error message still pops up, than redirects me to the search provider utility, every time. I have windows vista 32, internet explorer 8, my prob. happens about once a week, internet explorer stops working, data execution prevention, in my prob.and solutions it has two problem event names, APPCRASH and BEX? try this step : Here you need to set your security level low in IE8. 1. go to tools menu --> internet options 2. on security teb --> security zone --> set it to medium.. this is the problem of security setting only.. please read this : http://codeigniter.com/forums/viewthread/121637/ this will help to sort out yr problem..

Good for you but IE8 still beats Firefox hands down for functionality and ease of use. Firefox would have been better than previous IE versions or much of a muchness. I have IE8, Firefox, Chrome and Safari on my PC. IE is the one that I gravitate to. Most Firefox users seem to be making a statement,cuting off your nose despite your face etc.

Are you running Vista, Vista SP1, or Vista SP2? What anti-virus application or security suite is installed and is your subscription current ? What anti-spyware applications (other than Defender)? What third-party firewall (if any)? Were any of these applications running in the background when you attempted to install IE8? Has a(another) Norton or McAfee application ever been installed ...

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/974762 - user agent more than 256 char solves Request.browser.browser the problem. This patch needs to be installed on Webserver.
