I have windows vista, internet explorer 8 and adobe reader 9. When i open pdf files from a website i cannot save the document. I don't get an error message, it just does not open.

I have been affected by a trojan. I have tried system restor but it wont let me. I have disabled system restore, run spybot (free version) in safe mode then in normal mode twice and run upto date version of avg scanner - the trojans are still there. Also when downloading updates a window pops up which says........Setup cannot continue because a more recent version of internet explorer has been detected on this computer. Have no idea what that is all about. 1 person needs an answer I do too
