November 27, 2009 - At Disneyland last night, everyone who was in the park could see a special star known as the International Space Station in a rare opportunity. Coming into sight at exactly 5:33 p.m. -- no matter where theme park guests were standing -- the International Space Station was in plain view. No telescope was needed as the research facility orbiting around Earth was so apparent that...

Wow....what a sight! I was at my friend's house and somehow we got into politics. My friend's hubby has been out of work for a long time and he's been listening to the dreaded psychos on Cluster Fux and Clear Channel's most famous drug addict...Gawd, what a disappointment to hear this bit of news from a guy I like and thought he was smart enough to not listen to blatant...

I just need to figure this out... would a nuke fired in the atmosphere from that far away actually destroy a spacestation? Because at first I figured that would be silly since space doesn't have air so the explosion wouldn't reach. But then I realized that even if the shockwave wouldn't reach the spacestation there might still be debris from the spacestation itself that could do damage? And ...

International Space Station. (what???) If any of you out there are somewhat of a geek, the ISS is now supposed to be visible during daylight hours because it's so big now. Go onto "Heavens Above" website, put in where you are located, and look for it. I have seen it a couple of times at night (along with other space apparatus) and this thing was so big (compared to other stars)...
