All the parts came in, so this morning started putting the heads together when I noticed the 1.94 intake valves are slightly larger diameter than the valves that were there. I checked the old ones and they are 1.83 or so. Any idea why? Looked for valves that siz and cant be found. Can I use the 1.94 valves..they fit without any problems? Any help is appreciated as of now i'm sitting ...

Hello could someone help me because my Craftsman air compressor Twin Piston 1 hp builds pressure without a problem but its spitting water through the intake reed valves!! I picked a Comp solid roller lobe that, with the 1.7 ratio on the intake rocker, will yield me a net .630" lift. Duration is gross 242@.050. With the AFR 235cc heads, should I bother pushing the lift higher with a lobe change? I could go to a Hi-torque .406" lobe that would get me up into the net .672" lift range. With boost, does the intake side lift matter that much? I hate to leave ...

well i have the Holley systemax intake with the 1" spacer and i bought a set of Motor sport valve covers 3 3/4" but now im hearing they wont clear the bottom of my intake with the spacer so is anyone out there running the holley intakes with 1.7 rocker arms on a .600 lift cam and what valve covers are you running? i was looking at fabricated if they will clear i want to paint match them to the ...
