We paid the vets to fill out the E&L forms and the Vet put for cause of death unknown...

Hi.. hope someone whose been through something similar can provide some help! My OH was in an accident a few weeks ago, guy went into the back of her car at a roundabout, admitted liability and repairs were done to her car through the insurance. During this time she was provided with a courtesy car via Enterprise (rather than the repairers). Her car was repaired and dropped at the house at ...

Loss adjusters are stalling again and now threatening me if i do not accept the settlement they will hire their 'own' builders to do the work when I had already told...

Apologies for placing this thread here but its legal advice I need and I could find any other relevant section apart from speeding tickets. On 14 October 2007 I was visiting my mothers address and accidentially reversed into a neigbours car. I knocked on the door to apologise and it turned out to be the brothers car who was visiting. We exchanged names and addresses. Nov 2007. ...

Well, I had my 348 all tucked away inside an inflatable bubble for the winter. We had a nice warm evening last weekend (Sunday), so I "unpacked" her and my wife and I went out for dinner. Big Mistake!! On the way back home I hit an animal - likely a large racoon. Caused damage to the front spoiler. I continued to drive home and a few miles down the road, the car lost battery power and ...

About two weeks ago I was involved in an auto accident. I have a check issued by my insurance company to cover damages, but it is issued to myself, my wife, and the bank where I financed the vehicle. I plan to do the repairs myself, as the majority of the work is remove and replace parts and I am a painter myself with access to paint facilities. I cant get the check cashed without a letter of ...

Hi, Im after some advice. I made a home insurance claim 2 months ago as i split a vase of water over my tv, dvd player, xbox 360 and original xbox. The insurance company refused the tv claim as i had it disposed of due to no room to keep it in our house as we live in a tiny one. They refused it due to not being able to inspect it. I accepted that as it was my mistake. The other items ...

Hi everyone, I hope that this is in the correct forum part, if not feel free to move it or whatever you have to do! Right - In July I went away to Spain. I unfortunatly had my mobile phone, camera, just over 200 euros and a few other bits that I had in my bag (I only had 200 euros on me as I was going to pay for a trip that day, stopped off at a cafe on the way and that's where it all ...

We put in a claim 6 weeks ago for our tv as our son had acciently spilled his juice on it. I've had to provide written statements, photos of the tv from the past to prove it is ours, had 3 phone interviews and finally they took it away 2 weeks ago for inspection. They lost the report and had to get another, they're telling me they won't pay for a new one as the tv in their view was in poor ...

Hi, This is an ace site - and I hope someone can help me with some quality advice About a month ago I found a note on my car asking me to call a number regarding a car I had damaged! It transpires that it was my nextdoor neighbour - and the alleged damage is a VERY minor parking 'ding' (panel slightly pushed in) and twoVERY small minor shallow scrathes less than (1mm x 1cm) on her car. ...

Hi, I thought I'd write a post about making a car insurance claim, as I wish I'd known this before I made my claim. This relates to one single personal experience, and the accident in question was not my fault. Someone ran into the back of me on the approach to a roundabout. They were very apologetic, and gave me their details. I rang my insurance company to report the accident, and it ...
