Hi all, I have been playing up to now using a laptop touchpad and keyboard, which to be fair isn' t the best way to go about questing or pvp'ing. I was wondering if anyone had any good recommendations on mice and gaming keypads? I was looking at getting the steelseries wow mouse but the sticky button issue has put me off a bit. Has anyone tried the Razor Naga mouse? Is it any good? ...

But, when i plug the second mouse, it is seen as the same as first one: Code: $ xinput list ⎡ Virtual core pointer id=2 [master pointer (3)] ⎜ ↳ Virtual core XTEST pointer id=4 [slave pointer (2)] ⎜ ↳ id=6 [slave pointer (2)] ⎣ Virtual core...

I have Audacity 1.2.6, and I thought I would do some simple voice recordings just to check it out, with an eye on doing some serious voice recording in the form of dramatic readings in the future. I plugged my Mic into Mic input the front of my Dell Inspiron 530 computer, and tried to record. Didn't works, so when in doubt, read the instructions. It seems I have to select the input source,...

I bought a 3x1 manual HDMI switch from Amazon earlier this year. It works great, but I wasn't sure whether an 'auto' switch would work for me since I don't turn off my Tivo.

The WoW mouse is good.. if all you play is wow. However, I really like the Ikari, if you are a lefty, they made a new steelseries mouse that works for you people too, forgot the name though :)

For sound cards, you'd be better off in the audio section imo. But, I'd rather you go with the Auzentech X-Fi Home Theater HD or the ASUS Xonar HDAV 1.3 Deluxe . Either one of those will supply all the necessary DTS and Dolby sounds that go hand in hand with Blu-Rays.. so long as you use the proper media players and things for it. With PhysX.. the 9600GT ...

I found why i couldn't use automatic input devices naming. "AllowEmptyInput" must be enabled AND HAL must be configured so that it tells Xorg about connected devices for this to work. After i did this, everything works.

I have the same problem and posts indicate that it is probably a broken audio flex cable. I have a replacement cable from a late 2008 model but mine is an original (early 2008). Does anyone know they are compatible with each other? Macbook Air 1,1 ...
