I've mentioned the Inland Revenue multiple times since yesterday, so here is a question regarding thier role in legitamising a trader as an actual trader. Q) If the inland revenue do not have you on thier records as a trader, what actually are you in legitimate terms?

Hi, Well we have under 2 weeks left and tonight I get a call from the Inland Revenue saying we owe them a few hundred pounds from overpaid tax credits. They are chasing us for the money which they claim was overpaid in 2007 ! I don't have long to deal with this matter nor do I want to pay it because I know we don't owe them anything. It's not the first time they have made errors ...

Hi everyone. We booked our flights yesterday and will be leaving the UK on Jan 14th 2010, to live and work in Aus on a PR Visa. Do we need to contact the Inland Revenue? If so, I've also heard you can apply for some possible tax back.. How do you do this and how would I know if we are legible for a rebate? ( My wife and I both work for the NHS full time) Most importantly...How ...

I am suddenly getting an awful lot of emails, supposedly from Her Maj's customs & excise/Inland revenue. The message says something about me not declaring my income. Absolute drivel of course. It also asks me to open an attachment to see how I have fallen into arrears. Yeah right, I'm gonna do that . The thing is, how is this coming to me when it is addressed to someone else? I mean the ...

You need to register as self employed within 3 months btw so if you haven't done it for a while then best to claim you haven't. However, why would you want to register if you're getting away with it? Let's not beat about the bush. The Revenue are the Mafia in Marks and Spencer suits. They are scum. Tax is extortion. They have absolutely no right to your money. You would be better off saving ...
