Hello, I need some help. Please help me! I would like to change fuel system on my car - Audi 80 1,8 8V 82kW GTE Q. Now it's standart K-Jetronic. I would like to change this system to carbs: Dellorto dhla 40. Most biggest question: how to reduce high fuel presure (5,5-6bar) to low fuel pressure (0,3bar/ 4psi). I have for sale an Aquamist HSF-6 Kit. The kit was installed on my car back in May of this year and has been removed because I plan on changing my turbo set up when I return home from England. Plus, I found the kit a waste of money for myself, seeing as I don't use my car very often. Hi - I'd appreciate some advice please. I have a 54 plate Multijet 1.3. The car has been in low use lately and I found the battery (probably an original) had run flat. I took it off and charged it up. After replacing, the engine fired up fine but I now have an amber flashing warning light which was not there before. It's not loud at all and sounds like it's coming out of the gauge are in the dashboard. Has anybody else heard this? Dealer service dept said it was because the fuel injection pump was missing a cover. They ordered one and are installing it tomorrow.

thats what this thread is for. it seems to be pretty common for these pumps to end up drawing more current as they age. if they arent full water or ice, and the 30A is blowing, about the only things it could be is debris in the impeller, excess bearing drag, or possibly the shutoff valve or checkvalves isnt opening and letting air pass through, possibly causing air to "dead head" in...
